Trip to Te Tuhi Art Centre

 Today we had a trip to Te Tuhi Art Centre and we learnt about the Pacific culture and stories from the Pacific. We also did some Artwork using signs and symbols inspired by the Polynesian Tapa. We used shape, line and colour, with wet and dry materials. Our Artwork shares a story about who we are. Here is a glimpse of what we did:

This week we used Google Drawing to create a mind map regarding the school journal "No girls Allowed". It was a really interesting story where the writer explores what it means to make a difficult decision as a group to protect the interests of one person in that group – and the cost of taking a stand.
