Visit from the Tōia Library

Today we had a visitor from Tōia Library. Mr Bevis came to our class and read books to us. Reading with expression to gain our attention was the best part. The stories were really awesome. After that he gave us fake tattoo and it was so cool.

Today we had our Educational visit to Motat. We had a fun and exciting learning experience. The Educators informed us about Design thinking and the process involved in it. We did some coding and it was so cool. Here are some pictures:

Inquiry Learning - Different Cultures

This week we researched about different cultures and the things that makes the culture and the country special. Through collaborative learning, we gathered the information. First, we googled the information, printed them off and displayed them on our chart.

Otahuhu Schools Cultural Festival

Since this year Otahuhu Primary is taking part in the Cultural Festival, the lovely Room 7 students are researching about different cultures. That includes: the country, the flag, population, language, cultural food, cultural costumes and the cultural dance. We are really excited to be part of different cultural groups, learn about them and be part of their dance performance!
